[Masanhappo-Gu/Attraction] The Ocean Filming Site

The Ocean Filming Site

When you watch a drama on television and see a beautiful background setting,
don’t you ever think about how you ‘want to visit that place’?
Let me introduce to you, the Ocean Filming Site,
built with our beautiful country as the setting.

01 |Visit

I have arrived at the Ocean Filming Site!
The guide map is available at the entrance.
You might think that the building is smaller than expected,
but there are so many things to see, that you will need at least an hour to look around~
The filming site is located a bit further up from the guide map!

These are the works which were filmed here on the set up to now.
I am seeing many masterpieces as historical dramas are filmed here particularly often. Among them, the ‘Qi Hwanghu’(Qi Empress), which obtained the highest ratings,
was filed here as well.

In the ocean filming site, there are many buildings
which are true reflections of the phase of the old times.
Not only did they build Hanoks of trade merchants from the old days,
very similar to it’s original image in appearance,
the inside was built very well in conveying a very lively feel!
It looked exactly the way it did in the drama.
The natural scenery was also extremely beautiful,
as it was surrounded by only mountains and rivers.

Streets which were depicted only in movies,
were right in front of our eyes, including the old market, tavern, and etc.

This is the inside of the building.
It looks small from the picture, but the inside is big enough to include two-storied areas!
However, you must be conscious of the safety aspects during your visit,
as it is a wooden building with various spots which have become rusty~

Items which were sold in the markets, including iron tools,
gourd-shaped bottles, farming tools and others are also available in each of the buildings!
It was also fun to see the objects from the early times during the tour.

This is the top building located at the end of the Ocean Filming Site.
As the crossing bridge is said to be very rusty and dangerous, please be careful!

Similar to the exterior, the interior was also very fancy.
It had many items that were not available in other places including silk, jewelry, pottery and others, probably because it expresses a place of heavy traffic of people~
You can take beautiful pictures here, but our pictures did not come out well,
because the weather was cloudy on the day that we went.

When we came in through the entrance of the top building and walked straight out,
we say this beautiful scenery.
We were lost for words when we saw this gorgeous landscape.

When you look to the side of the bridge,
you will see a very lively replica of the ship as well. It was enormous!
The Ocean Filming Site, surrounded by mountains and rivers,
in displaying the long past images of our country!
Come and visit this beautiful place with family or a loved one~
