01 ｜Visit
We have arrived at the Masan Port, which is the gateway to Dotseom Island!
As the weather is cloudy,
I was worried that we might not be able to take the boat,
but we will be able to go~
The time period in which the dock is open is 5:00~23:00.

The admission fee for the Dotseom Island is shown in the photo above.
However, if you use a credit/debit card for payment,
the approval is obtained via password, and therefore you must enter the 4 digital password for train, air plane and ship.
If you want a cash receipt, you must let them know in advance!

The closing time for the ticket office is 5pm, and the last boat that comes out of the Dotseom Island will be available at 6pm.
If you miss the last boat, you will have to stay at the island for a night,
so please check the time during your visit!

Unlike the Gagopa no.1 that takes a round-trip to Dotseom Island,
Gagopa no.2, which is a happy cruise ship,
takes 2 separate sailing routes including the luxury course and customized course.
The price is a bit higher, so please remember this when taking the ship.

We prepared shrimp snack and brought it with us to use as seagull feed.
Seagulls appeared from all over the place and ate the feed that we brought for them!
It was a bit scary, but a fun experience!

Quite fittingly, the golden pig statue welcomes us into this Golden Pig Island.

Out first stop was the bird center!
As maintenance work was being done in the early September, it was a bit noisy.
On the very next floor, there was a Mung Bean Pancake restaurant.

Right next to the bird center was the swinging bridge.
It swung more than I had expected, but it was fun to play on it~

Dotseom Island is famous for Changwon sculpture biennale exhibition~
More of it are located on top of the Dotseom Island, as opposed to the ocean walk. They are exhibited between pretty walks.

A figure of a person that can surprise it’s audience through an optical illusion,
colorful elephant and others are included in the various exhibit works displayed,
and more importantly, every corner was exuberating in the beauty of art~

The restroom located within the Masan Port.
there is a convenience store located next to the Masan Port restroom.
On the ship headed for Dotseom Island, the seagull feed is sold for 1,000won.
Leaving 1,000won is left up to your conscience, so please pay the price for the feed~

In the Dotseom Island, there are signs to kindly guide the visitors!
There is no restroom along the shoreline.
But up at the top, there are 3 locations with restrooms.

There is a convenience store located at the entrance of the Dotseom Island.
This location and near the Bird Center are the only two locations with restaurants,
so if you are hungry, catch some food here before starting your tour.

And seats are available right next to the store as well.

04 ｜How to get there
You can take the bus no. 250, 255, 265 and get off at the Dotseom Island terminal station.
When you get off here, you will see the Masan Port,
which is the entrance to Dotseom Island~
*A large parking lot is available in front of the Masan Port,
therefore those with cars can come without worrying about parking.
