[Masanhoewon-gu/Delicious places] Burning Iron Case

Burning Iron Case

When the cold wind blows, don’t you crave some hot soup?
Jajangmyeon(Noodles with Black Soybean Sauce)
is one of the most beloved dishes in Korea!!
And in Changwon, you can also find Jjamppong(Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup),
with it’s unique scent of seafood!!
I would like to introduce the Burning Iron Case,
that will refreshingly soothe your stomach!

01 |Visit

Burning Iron Case is located in an alley that is not very visible!
As the main restaurant, even the sign seems give out a scent of a delicious restaurant~
In summer, they also offer Kong-guksu(Noodles in Cold Soybean Soup) and Naengmyeon(Cold Buckwheat Noodles) as special seasonal menu!
Hours of operation are 11:00~21:00 and the second and
the fourth Monday of each month are the closing days.

This is a photo of the inside of the restaurant.
There is a bigger hall when you go in further.
 A total of 80 seats are available~
As the kitchen is an open kitchen, you can see the entire cooking process.

The menu is truly diverse.
As with their statement ‘the price might be the same,
but the taste cannot be the same’, I cannot wait to taste their food!
The price is not listed on the menu,
but we ordered Jajangmyeon + Jjamppong + Shrimp fried rice +
small Tangsuyuk(Sweet and Sour Pork) for 33,000won.
The prices were similar to other Chinese restaurants.

02 |Tasting

You can see the shine in Jajangmyeon!
Doesn’t it make your mouth water?
As it was freshly made, it was very warm and the noodle was very chewy.
The mixture of meat and various vegetables gave
it a crunchy texture and great taste!

As Masan is a coastal area, it is famous for seafood~
The broth was made with mussels, calamary, clams and other seafood.
This broth met the noodles to create a tasty seafood Jjamppong !
I thought that it would be a great dish for people with hangovers as well.
For those of you who like Jjamppong! I highly recommend this restaurant~

The next was the shrimp fried rice!
They say Masan is generous, and it sure did have great amount of shrimp.
Eating it with Jjamppong broth made it taste even better~
Although it was a bit bland, it was supplemented by the Jajangmyeon!

Lastly, it was the highlight of the course Tangsuyuk!
The three of us shared the mean and the small size was just perfect~
Can’t you almost see the crunchiness from the photo?
The outside is crunchy and the inside was soft.
The sauce was also sweet and tasty!

We asked for a lot of Dnmuji(Pickled Radish) and the owner gave us this much~
And he also gave us greatly filled Fried Dumplings on the house...♡
The service and the owner were all very kind!!!

This is the entire shot of our entire order.
It looks so delicious, doesn’t it? The photo shows the liveliness of it,
but the taste was even better.
The three of us had such a great and filling meal!
If you are in Masan and are craving spicy delicious food,
I would recommend the Burning Iron Case.
