If you come to the Gyeongsang Province, this is one of the must have dishes! 

It is the pork and rice soup! 

I would like to introduce Namyang Pork and Rice Soup, 

where you can enjoy both the spicy pork and rice soup broth and

 Suyuk(boiled beef/pork slices) at the same time~

01 ｜Visit

24 hour Namyang Pork and Rice Soup with a large 

parking lot and a very visible sign! 

As it is open 24 hours, you can enjoy the food without any restrictions on time~ Looking at the fancy lights of the restaurant interior a

nd the sign in the dark hours of the night, 

makes you want to go in a have a bowl of warm pork and rice soup~

On one side, there is a place to boil shank bone broth.

They are said to be boiled for 36 hours!

This is the interior of the restaurant.

The clean interior and neatly set tables bring on more trust towards the restaurant.

When we went, it was earlier than the average dinner time, 

but nonetheless, it was busy with many customers!

It is probably popular because it has great food indeed~

They also have a large wall mounted television 

so you will not be bored when you eat! 

It also has a place with additional side dishes that you can get yourself! 

So if you need more, you can have as much as you want~

They offer variety of rice soups and boiled meats, that especially caught our eyes. For your reference, the rice soup and boiled meats can be packed to-go!

02 ｜Tasting 

We ordered the pork and rice soup and a sampler boiled meat!

We only ordered two items but the table was completely full!

So many delicious side dishes were also included~ 

I liked the Kimchi for it’s spicy flavor.

This was the pork and rice soup.

With the steaming pot, the warm soup looks even more delicious! 

The meat inside is also very big and good~ Next is the sampler boiled meat.

I thought that the portion would be small, as it was a sampler, 

but as I continued to eat, I was surprised at it’s generous portion~

Thick juicy suyuk! It looks so good, doesn’t it?

It is really great with kimchi or lettuce in a wrap.

Highly Recommended!

An Italian restaurant with great ambience, a great place to go on a blind date,

 a restaurant where taste and style can both be enjoyed simultaneously, 

I would like to introduce the Italian Fly~

01 ｜Visit

We went to Italian Fly, a famous pasta restaurant in Changwon.

They not only offer pasta, but pizza, coffee, beer are all available~ 

This is the inside of the restaurant.

It is decorated well with charming and unique props!

The subtle lighting brings out the ambience even more, 

and I think women will especially like it~

The oven located in the middle of the restaurant came into our view. 

The pizzas seemed to be actually made here.

Isn’t it wonderful?

Looking around at the interesting paintings all around 

the walls were enough to keep us busy while waiting for our ordered food.

02 ｜Tasting 

This was the appetizer bread.

It looks delicious, right?

The honey on top of a unique textured bread was great together.

This is generous amount of pickles, which are a must when eating oily foods!

The plates on the table are also very cute~

After we finished the appetizer bread, our food came out!

We order gorgonzola pizza, carbonara and penne pasta~

Doesn’t your mouth water from just looking at it?

The generous portion surprised me.

The price is low and this generous portion on top makes it even better!

The gorgonzola pizza was big and the delicious cheese stretching made 

it taste even better~

If you need more honey, they will bring you more, which is also great! 

 

Carbonara pasta was also very delicious.

 The interesting thing was that it was not as oily as thought it might be~

That made it easier to eat other menu items as well.

The last menu was the penne pasta.

Just looking at the soft bread bowl filled with pasta made me feel full~

It looks really delicious, right?

 I recommend Italian Fly, which offers great ambience and taste!

When you wish to have a cup of coffee with delicious bread! When you are having a walk through the silent reservoir with a lover! I recommend CHO SUN.

 

 

01 | Visitor’s Report

 

 



 

This is CHO SUN, located at the entrance of Bongam Reservoir.

 

This is the inside of the café. The place is open and crisp, as the sunlight comes in through the windows! In particular, the windows are kept open at the terrace when the weather is fine, so that visitors can feel the warm sunshine.

 

The seats are available not only on chairs, but on the floor with sitting cushions.

 

There are magazines and books on the table, which you can read while drinking a cup of coffee. I recommend this to those visiting alone!

 

There are plants and antique props at the corners of the café. The props seemed to create the atmosphere of the café~

 

It would be fun to look around the charming props while waiting for your order to come out!

 

The restroom is available inside the café. The inside of the restroom was also clean, just as the café, which I liked~

 

This is a self‐bar. You can take a cup, straw, or charger when you need it~

 

The bakery available at CHO SUN is one of the best bakeries, having an artisan spirit of hotel patissiers of Shilla Hotel and CJ Olympia Hotel, which is patronized by around 5,000 entities including Asiana Airlines, CJ, Shinsaegae SUN, and Our Home!

 

You can take‐out your drinks instead of entering inside! There are also boiled eggs and ice water available, so you may purchase what you need before walking around Bongam Reservoir. For your information, the owner here is very friendly

 

Take note of this menu board~ You can see not only coffees, but various types of breads as well!

 

02 | Tasting

 

 

I ordered Strawberry Banana, an orangeade, and a sandwich! Strawberry Banana was delicious with a mysterious combination of the tastes of the two fruits, and was thick probably because of using both strawberries and bananas. The orangeade was refreshing and very cool, which was easy to drink! The drink was more refreshing because it contained fruits.

 

The sandwich was made on‐the‐spot after taking my order, which was full of tomatoes, cheese, ham, and topping! The ingredients seemed fresh, however, it was not easy to eat in one bite because of the many ingredients used. Regardless, the taste was the best! Just like a home‐made sandwich, it was fuller and more delicious~

 

I could feel that much care was given not only in the beverage and sandwich, but to the cover!

01 Visiting brief

This place is one of the best in Hapseongdong!

 It is not a bluff.

 Shall we get in?

It opens 11am and closes ..hmm..up to the owner! :-)

They close on the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month.

I could see a number of cookery certificates at the door area. hahaha

 They seemed promising.

Koreans can't live without a bowl of rice.

As the diner is located in an alley, I assumed the place would be small.

 But inside was rather spacious.

The kitchen was an open plan.

Their signature dishes were Korean style dinner and grilled BBQ. 

 Duruchigi, Korean bouillabaisse, was another popular menu.

 I will try it next time.

 They offer only a few menus and it sounds more promising.

 That was especially appealing option to a person like me who can never decide.

which I found out after finished mine.

02  Tasting

The table setting was neat and pleasantful.

 We ordered kimchi stew, bean paste stew, and soft bean curd stew.

Side dishes were the same.

We got our stews.

First of all, we took pictures.

​

Boiling bean curd stew was so soft and yummy.

 But my favorite was bean paste stew.

 It had plentiful seafood and was delicious.

 It is strongly recommended!

The last one was kimchi stew.

 A bit disappointed as there were no meats, but still very yummy.

Wow, I have eaten my bowl of rice in a twinkling moment!

 The stews were so gooooood so that I hardly ate any other side dishes!

 I know that I shouldn't be picky for the sake of my health

Instant coffee was offered for free.
