Masan Literature Museum
I would like to introduce Masan Literature Museum, a space for a view of the trend of modern literature, and promulgating cultural traditions and assets.
1 Visit
The city of Changwon is operating the museum! This is the literature museum. You don’t need to take it as being a heavy topic just because it is a literature museum! It looks like a park.
This is the panoramic view of the Masan Literature Museum exterior, it is a two story building.
First floor contains permanent exhibition room, data room, information research room, and the second floor contains special exhibition room, theater, seminar room, reading room. There is no admission fee! Excluding the closing day, Monday, it is open all other days! The hours of operation are from 9am to 6pm. And it looks as though the spaces can be rented as well~ You can contact the literature museum for more details.

The exhibition is related to the people of literature and history of Masan.
After finishing looking around the permanent exhibition room where we were able to obtain knowledge for the first time in a while, we moved to the 2nd floor. On the 2nd floor, there was special exhibition room.
When we went, it was the Korean modern literature rare book materials exhibition.

We went into the exhibition room. It appeared that group tour is carried out here from time to time, in addition to events and training! The books are exhibited on both sides of the room. The exhibition was said to be until the 30th of September, so there is probably a different exhibition in progress~
This is the reading room.
We came out after finishing the calming tour! When we came out, there was a pavilion on the right side of the building! Many of the elderly were gathered in playing the Korean chess Janggi~ Masan Literature Museum was not only a place for literature, but it also played a role of being a place of rest for the residents of Masan. In addition, we were able to learn about the flow of Masan literature that contributed greatly to the development of literature, and it played a role of spreading the word about the literary assets of Masan.
2 Information about the facilities
For your reference the Masan Literature Museum prohibits smoking for both inside and outside of the museum!
The drink fountain is at the end of the hall on the 2nd floor.
The restroom is also on the 2nd floor!
For parking, there is a big lot around the mid-way up the museum! Please keep this in mind for those bringing cars!
