01 | Visitor’s Report

 

 

This is Crown Driver’s Restaurant, located at the entrance of the National 3.15 Democratic Uprising Cemetery. I visited this restaurant before visiting the Democratic Uprising Cemetery because I was hungry!

 

This was a small and neat restaurant. They also provide breakfast~

 

Please note that the restroom is located outside the restaurant!/

 

This is the inside of the restaurant. The restaurant is divided into seats available in chairs and on the floor, so you can choose whatever better suits your convenience. It seems that this place will be crowded during lunch time, as there are not many tables available!/

 

This is the menu board. You can see various types of meals available, from ramen to steamed ray.

02 | Tasting

 

I ordered soybean paste stew (KRW 5,000) and duruchigi, which is Korean style stir‐fried meal (KRW 7,000). The meal is served plentifully on a plate, along with a bowl of rice!

 

There were not many types of side dishes, however, the warm eggplant jeon fried right away was delicious! The kimchi was also very delicious, that I could eat a full bowl of rice only with the kimchi.

 

This is the soybean paste stew. It is full of seafood and tofu, and also contains vegetables, and I was able to eat it all, without any leftovers!

 

The stir‐fried spicy pork was not too sweet nor too spicy, so children may enjoy as well. The sesame sprinkled on top emitted a sweet smell~

 

The vegetables were not overdone excessively but done adequately, thus, the texture was alive and meat was soft, which was delicious. My mouth waters even now, just seeing the picture. ㅠㅠ
