Seongsan Art Hall

We visited the Seongsan Art Hall,

 the center of cultural life of Changwon!

01 ｜Visit

This is the grand theater of the Seongsan Art Hall.

Worthy of it’s name, the grand theater was a clean large building.

This is the image of the theater from the back entrance of Seongsan Art Hall.
As there are many parking spaces and it is large is size, 
it seemed as though many people were visiting it as if it was a park~

The clean modern ambience does give it a feel of a park, doesn’t it?

This is the small theater of the Seongsan Art Hall.

This is the exhibition space, and so if you walk inside, 

you can enjoy various types of art works in the exhibition hall.

On the opposite side of the small theater, 

there is a stage entrance which the actors 

and actresses use to get in and out of the stage.

The Seongsan Art Hall was filled with many people despite 

the fact that it was during the week.

At the Seongsan mingle garden, which is a stage located 

in the Seongsan Art Hall Square, there was a performance in progress.

In particular, at the Seongsan Art Hall Square, 

various types of events including handmade art market and 

others are carried out thus it attracts more people~

We were able to enjoy watching the people in gravity like this

 and there was also a place available for people to draw 
their own self-portraits within a doodle experience program.

Many people were enjoying themselves~

It was also fun for us to watch!

02 ｜Information

This is the inside of the small theater at Seongsan Art Hall.

The clean and quiet atmosphere made us feel as though we were at a museum~

At the center, unique sculptures, such as the works of 

Nam June Paik were available to grab the attention of the visitors.

And there was another exhibition room where people can view many other art works

and a place to recharge cellular phones among other accommodations were provided at the information center!

There is also a restroom on the side near the hall at the end of the center.

04 ｜How to get there

After getting off at the Seongsan Art Hall station.

 Walk straight until you see the Seongsan Art Hall sign and a parking lot.

Walk straight up for a bit more and you will find the way to 

Seongsan Art Hall on the side of the Seongsan Mingle Garden.
