Jeodo Yeonyukgyo
A place where you can see the blue sea and open scenery in one sight! A place where couples fall in love when crossing together! I will introduce Jeodo Yeonyukgyo, which is one of the nine scenic sights in Masan. *^^*

This is Jeodo Yeonyukgyo, which is located at Happo‐gu, Masan, Changwon. Do you know what a yeonyukgyo is~? Yeongyukgyo is a generic term for bridges that connect the mainland to an island, and Jeodo Yeonyukgyo is a steel yeonyukgyo connecting Jeodo Island and Gubok‐ri, Gusan‐myeon, Masanhappo‐gu!
The white bridge is the new Jeodo Yeongyukgyo and the red bridge is the old Jeodo Yeonyukgyo, and after the new yeongyukgyo opened in 2004, the existing yeonyukgyo has been preserved as a tourist site. In particular, this bridge is famous for appearing in a scene in the movie ‘Indian Summer,’ where Shin‐yang Park and Mi‐yeo Kim cross in a car~
Unlike the movie, the old Jeodo Yeonyukgyo does not allow car traffic, and remains as a bridge for pedestrians. A story comes down that love can be attained when walking in hands with a lover to the end, and that love can be achieved when proposing on the bridge by giving 100 red roses. ♡.♡ It was actually easy to see many lovers on the bridge!
This is the view from the bridge. The scenery was very beautiful! I felt sorry that the entire scenery could not be expressed in a picture. ㅠㅠ The red iron bridge on the clear ocean was extremely impressive~
It is said that the whole area is packed with people wishing to see the sunrise on the first day of the year. I felt my heart opening wide by viewing the open landscape and feeling the gentle wind!
When crossing the bridge, you can see locks hung at the guardrail. Just as N Tower, ‘locks of love’ were hung at several places.
Not only locks, but there were lovely writings like this in places :‐)
The new Jeodo Yeonyukgyo is a bridge projecting a black‐tailed gull, which is the symbol of Masan, and has been selected as one of the nine scenic places of Masan, and in particular, lights glow at the bridge during night, showing a grandeur scene, as if showing a seagull flying up! The scenery during the day is impressive, however, I also think that the scenery during the night is beautiful!
An open scenery and romantic bridge! I recommend this place to lovers visiting Changwon~

You can take the blue buses 801, 707, 103, 101, 106, or 108 at Changwon Bus Terminal, transfer to the green bus 61, and get off at Gubok Yeongyukgyo stop.
