[Masanhappo-Gu/Attraction]Sanho Park(The Street of Poems)

Sanho Park(The Street of Poems)

Sanho Park is also known as the Yongma Park,
and is located in the middle of Yongma mountain fortress.
Yongma mountain fortress was built to prevent the attacks by Japanese raiders!
When the fortress started to fall as it became old,
it was restored to the current state and it is a park the way it is now.
We visited this Sanho Park.

01 |Visit

This is the entrance to the park! It says that if we walk additional 100m,
we will arrive at the street of poems.

The street of poems is supposedly a tile mural trial street~
When we visited, it was still in the works.

For those of you who might be curious,
I will show you a bit of it and this is what it looks like!
When it is completed,
I think that it would become another tourist attraction spots of Masan.

From the entrance, if you walk in about 100m, the street of poems starts,

and the literature memorial stones are positioned like this~

This is said to be the first literature experience course in the country!
How beautiful is it to walk along while reading poems.

As we took leisurely walks while reading the poems,
we arrived at the part before we knew it!

The guide map for the Sanho Neighborhood Park is visible as soon as we walk in~
You can look around based on this!
We decided to look at the memorial stone last,
so we went up to the observatory first.

As soon as you walk up to the empty lot, you can take a left!

Happ’s... um while I was traveling Changwon,
I realized that it is a place where people did a great job of maintaining their native culture!

From here you need a bit of energy!
All of the sudden, it turns into hiking!!
but if you walk as if to hike, it won’t even take 10 minutes!
After walking up the steps, we see a great scenery!

Exercise equipments are available as well~
We visited during the day, but at night, it would be a great place for a date!!
Even during the day, it was great

We left behind the observatory which we did not want to leave,
and headed to the right side of the empty lot where the guide map was located!

If you see the pavilion to your left,
you are heading in the right direction

National Cooperation and Democratic Unification, is what is written here~

When you look to your right, there is a large work-out space bigger than the area near the observatory~ This is the place of rest and exercise for the residents~

Although it is not the Thinker by Rodin!!
Here they also have a statue of a thinker~

  It is not difficult~
Follow the way straight in,

and you will see the Chunghontap Tower! Chunghontap Tower was erected to memorialize the spirits of those from Masan who fought for the country. Here, I paid my tribute to the patriots before returning. Although the Sanho Park plays the role of cultural center including having the street of poems, it is more meaningful in that it carries the meaning of memorializing the pain from the Korean War.

02 |Information

This is the mineral springs! At the entrance of the park!
It is at the empty lot~

As it is a mineral springs, the hours of use are designated~
Please keep the hours in mind!

On the way to the Chunghontap Tower,
there is a restroom. I liked it as it was very comfortable.
