01 Visiting Vrief
This is a very renowned place in Masan
called 'Grilled Eel' Street!
I was so excited as eel dishes were one of my favorites!
*Distinct Characters of this place*
They used fresh sea eels and the price was rather inexpensive!
Restaurants serving grilled eel were everywhere.
It was still an early evening as diners were about to occupy the tables.
We could manage to get an outdoor table.
As the restaurants in the street were competing fiercely, each one of them tried very hard to attract diners . :-)
Providing you were a smooth-talker, you might get extra dishes for free.
We chose to dine at a restart named 'Hyang-ok-jung'!
The outdoor table we sat on didn't give us the view as great as we have expected.
However, overall ambience was great.
Wow! The price of grilled sea eel was only 12,000 KRW!
How fabulous!
They served hagfish and sliced raw fish (a.k.a sashimi) as well.
But we ordered grilled eels.
We will have hagfish and sashimi next time around..
02 Tasting
A variety of neat side dishes were served.
I supposed they might help boosting appetite.
Tah dah~ the grilled sea eel was served.
It looked very fresh. I could not grab it in a still cut image though.
But I was surprised by its writhing and wriggling motion. Hahahaha
I put the fresh eel on a hot plate where it created delicious sizzling sounds.
You have got to grill the both sides of the eel and garlics with timely manner.
Otherwise, it burns easily.
The restaurants owner also advised how to grill and when to eat. :-)
It looked so yummy when it turned tasty brown color..!!
I might have to eat it now!

It was fantastic.
You can't imagine how good it was.
It is strongly recommend!
This one was eel soup.
Hmm..what could I say.
This eel soup did not taste eel though.
It wasn't good enough but the taste was not that bad.
When we were about to finish the meal, the sun had already set.
The lights from the restaurants brightened the 'Grilled Eel' street.
Many customers were still coming in for the eel dish for late dinner.
We had a good time.
That was definitely value-for-money.
